If I had to simplify everything I teach in The Method into four daily proposals, they would be these.
When you wake up, begin with gratitude as your orientation. In the book, one of the four Soul Questions is, “What am I grateful for?” This question immediately shifts your internal ecosystem. It moves you from lack to awareness. Your focus becomes clear. You realize that clarity is never passive; it gives the right direction. It reminds you what truly matters before the world tells you what should matter.
Then, be with yourself. Not with your thoughts. Not with other people’s expectations. Not with social media. Just breathe. ….. In Chapter 1, we explore the dialogue with the self—the observer, the “I AM.” Meditation is alignment. It is the space where answers arise in the gap between two thoughts. In that space, you reconnect with your essence. You will be surprised from the answers…. you get when you dont talk to yourself. In silence.
Third, do not be afraid to write your next chapter. In detail. In feeling. In intention with NO FEAR. Purpose is a way of being, and this shift changes everything when you commit to it fully. Your intention begins to shape your actions. Where you put your attention is where your energy flows. When you consciously design how you want to experience your future, associate it with empowering feelings, and act accordingly, you train your nervous system to recognize alignment when it appears.
And finally, whenever insecurity arises, return to the good of the world. Do good. Offer something. Even something small and kind. In Chapter 5, I write about contribution as an inner motivator. When you contribute, you step out of fear and back into your values. You remember who you are. And you feel it.
Self-awareness. Alignment. Intention. Contribution.
If practiced daily, these four are enough.
With care,
Niki Smirni
